There is no better place to get that "other half" of your college education than in a fraternity. MU's Greek community has been providing students with leadership opportunities, educational assistance, job contacts, friends and fun for over 130 years. The University of Missouri's Greek community is a place where your son can live, learn and enjoy college life to the fullest. There is no faster way to get connected to the campus than to “Go Greek”.

Our chapter house is located in Greek Town, a short few minute walk from campus. The Gamma-Sigma Housing Corporation, comprised of alumni members of the chapter, owns the chapter house. The Housing Corporation board maintains the facility, which ensures that the chapter house is a safe place to live. The chapter maintains and handles its own financial operations independently, not in association with the University.

In joining the fraternity, he is encouraged and supported by the chapter members when pursuing involvement in campus organizations. This involvement helps you to develop leadership skills that are beneficial to securing employment after graduation.

Alumni support for the members is also cited as one of the benefits of joining a fraternity. The alumni provide networking opportunities for the members, which help them to secure internships and jobs throughout and after their college careers. In addition, many alumni are actively involved as chapter advisors in the organizations, provide support for the academic transition to University life.
